Maths week 2025
From Early Years up to Year 6, for a whole week the children enjoyed Active Maths. They created and played their own Maths games, enjoyed working outside and in, and loved learning with various materials and concrete resources. The whole School were excited by their learning and there was a buzz across all the Year groups.
Maths Week 2024
The whole school enjoyed a full week of problem solving activities and looking at maths in a different way. All the children worked so well, both independently and in teams. The week was thoroughly enjoyed by all and both the children and staff can not wait until we do it again!
Problem Solving Lessons
In all year groups, children are encouraged to solve problems using practical resources.
Active Maths
Active Maths activities are planned for weekly to enrich the curriculum and encourage children to practise and apply learnt skills outside the classroom.
OAA
Children take part in orienteering activities to practise and apply arithmetic, teamwork and map reading skills.
