In science this term, Key stage 1 are learning all about their bodies.

Heritage day in Old Amersham, lovely to see so many past and present pupils and their families.
The Mounted Police visited and talked to us about their role in policing. Headed up by our own ex pupil Gemma, the children were enthralled!

'Am Jam' came in to play their instruments to our whole school. The music was spectacular and the children loved listening to it all.
Year 2 are creating their own Victorian bathing machines.

Year 6 games festival at The Misbourne - We won both 1st and 2nd place! We smashed it!
Summer Fayre - Thank you all for coming and supporting this special event - our biggest yet!
Former St Mary's pupils came for a tour and afternoon tea as part of our 150 years celebration.

Look at our weaving! The Amersham Arts Society helped to fund a visit from Christine Burdin (art-room.co.uk) who took us all out to weave a special 150 celebration tree. It is amazing!

Key stage 1 have been starting to explore toys in their History lessons....starting with bringing in their favourite toy from home.
Early Years have continued enjoying their learning about the Festival of Light, with Mrs Deol explaining to the children about how Sikh's celebrate Bandi Chorr Diwas.

Quad kids Interschool competition was a huge success for our year 5 &6 children, with Sasha winning overall and Arlo and Aiyla coming second. Well done St Mary's!
Year 6 had their games festival at Missenden School this week - They entered 2 teams and came 1st and 2nd!! Well done year 6.
All of us have enjoyed creative dance workshops led by Sarah from The Chartraine School of Dance, who also leads our popular after school club.
