Maths in motion - Grand Prix!

Year 5 & 6 have been working with an amazing Maths In Motion program that has challenged their maths skills in the last few weeks. The children have used their measuring, distance, angles, percentages, team work, problem solving strategy, tactics and a dash of good luck to race each other and the staff in a formula one race. The winning team were called NNFGNFS ( No need for grip, need for speed ) with Beth, William, Eddie and Sanyam being the only team to complete the race without running out of fuel or crashing. Mrs Peck came second ( team amazing ) and the team 'Alfie likes cheesecake' team came third - Tiger, Alexandra, Alfie and Tommy.
